Ordering ~ Orders can also be placed by phone, fax, mail, or email (without the credit card number). While it is safe to enter your credit card# on a secure web site (as this is), please don't ever send credit card information through an email system. Email is not a secure form of transmission. While online orders can be placed anytime, phone orders can be placed Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm EST. Your order will almost always ship within 24 hours. Orders are filled Monday-Friday; orders placed on Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday are shipped on Monday.
Gifts~ Please inform the recipient to expect a package from Second World! The recipient of your gift will not receive any pricing or receipts from us (they are sent to the billing address)!
Tax~ If you are shipping to a location within Massachusetts, we're required to charge state tax (with the exception of Food & Drink products, Memberships, Donations, and Gift Certificate Purchases).
Exchanges & Returns ~ Please note that many of Second World products are hand crafted and unique. This means that items may vary in color and shape. All products purchased from the Second World Fair Trade Showroom are sold with a 30-day money back guarantee (except for food and drink products which are only returnable if damaged). If, for any reason, you aren't completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a full refund of the original purchase price, excluding shipping and handling charges. Please contact us to arrange for any exchange or return - Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm EST. If you are returning an order paid for by credit card, Second World will issue a refund to the credit card account used for the original purchase (upon receipt of the returned product). If you paid by check, we will issue a check. To ship a product to us, carefully pack the item in the original box or padded envelope, or use another in good condition. Make a copy of your receipt and place it in the box. Please be sure to write the quantity being returned and the reason for the return. Our shipping address is:
